The rules of the road for using the infersurge remote device gateway. Plain language, no dark patterns — and see our Privacy Policy for how we handle data.
Effective date: October 19, 2026
infersurge is a hosted remote device gateway. You enroll machines you control by running
a small agent (isg) on them; each agent holds an outbound encrypted WebSocket
to our gateway. Your AI client — ChatGPT, Claude, VS Code, Cursor, JetBrains, or any
MCP-compatible harness — then calls tools (terminal, files,
search, transfers, desktop control) on those devices through a single
MCP endpoint at https://api.infersurge.com/mcp.
The gateway routes protocol messages; it does not execute anything itself. Commands run on your machines, at your direction, under the permissions of the agent you started. infersurge is a routing and metering layer, not a hosting provider for your workloads.
| Plan | Price | Devices | Commands / month |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 1 | 10,000 |
| Starter | $20 / month | 5 | 1,000,000 |
| Pro | $200 / month | 50 | Unlimited |
| Enterprise | Custom | 50+ | Unlimited |
Paid plans can be billed monthly, quarterly (10% off — Starter $54/qtr, Pro $540/qtr), or annually (pay for 10 months, get 12 — Starter $200/yr, Pro $2000/yr).
Metering is per successful tool call. Failed, offline, and timed-out
calls are automatically refunded and never billed. Most tools count as exactly 1 command;
for the three tools that can return large payloads — screenshot,
read_file, read_multiple_files — the image payload is billed at
a size-derived multiplier:
| Returned image payload | Multiplier |
|---|---|
| ≤ 256 KiB | 1 |
| 256 KiB – 1 MiB | 4 |
| 1 – 4 MiB | 16 |
| > 4 MiB | 64 |
429 until the period resets or you upgrade. We never bill automatic overages.Questions about these terms, billing, or your account: mail@infersurge.com. We aim to respond within two business days.
